Little Lizard

This small lizard pays homage to the chameleon my young son “adopted.” He gave us great entertainment & joy living in his terrarium and crawling all over us!
The original ink and pencil drawing is digitally enhanced and measures 5.25″x3.5″ Hand calligraphy and pastel hand colouring are added after printing to enhance the design.

Snail Sighing

This shell, a memento from long ago at the beach with my family, still sits on my bookshelf. It represents those I love and the sparseness of an autumn shore at a time when it was safe to venture far and wide without concern.
It sighs to me to #staysafe.
A limited edition (5 prints, 8″ x 11″) on handmade paper of cotton-linen blend fibers with dried flower inclusions. Original art was painted in gouache. For this series two separate images are digitally printed, one at a time, with hand coloring in pencil and adding calligraphic lines.
