Cabinet Series
Unique piece re-purposes a late 19th c./early 20th c. cabinet card photographic cover [7″ x11″ closed] to create an artist’s book using glued, folded binding.
Original 20th c. photographs are scanned, altered and printed on to commercial, translucent paper and handmade cotton and marbled paper, both by the artist. An HP Inkjet 4400 series printer was used.
“Berthe” [pronounced Beh-RT] is written by the artist for her mother-in-law.
