An artist’s books for children

Created in 2026, this artist’s book with accordion fold using Japanese hinging, tells the story of Mr. Snakemake and his adventures in a nearby garden.

The original drawing of Mr. Snakemake was a collaboration with my then, four-year old grandson and myself, as we sat that the kitchen table one afternoon. The story was composed to suit his sunny disposition and later illustrated using pochoir, digital printing of the text. The cover is designed as a portfolio for easy access by small hands.
