Accordion book [3″x8.5″x11.75″] is constructed using handmade papers of linen, cotton, and abaca, with natural fibers and hand dyed with cochineal for the covers. The artwork, although minimal, is a clover image from an original drawing by the book artist. Ribbon and glass beads add a tie to the book.The slip cover is crafted from hand marbled papers by the artist. The typeface is Pristina font, 11 point with hand calligraphed capital letters, and printed with archival ink, digitally.
The poem, There Are So Many, was written by the artist on occasion of her son’s wedding for him and his bride. This is a memento or keepsake for the years to come, 2024.
